Children are special in the United Methodist Church. Children are viewed as a gift from God and are an integral part of all worship services held.

The Sunday school department is offered for children 3 years through sixth grade. The Sunday school department has opted to use a rotation model for the children. The children rotate through five different stations for a period of five weeks. Each session is approximately 45 minutes. The opening session begins at 10:00 a.m. in the basement of the church. This includes the Bible theme for the day, reciting of the Bible verse, a story, and collection of offering. The children then leave for their station with their shepherd. In their station, they may experience some of the following: music, video, science, cooking, storytelling, art, or games. The Bible theme is repeated in each of the stations. Leaders and shepherds (which is a helper to the group) can volunteer to help with a particular station or are asked if they would like lead a station for only five weeks. They prepare one lesson and repeat the lesson to the various age groups for 4 weeks. They have one week off out of the five. The children are dismissed at 10:50 a.m. and go home excited about what they have learned that day!

Let me know if you are interested in having your child attend, or would like to be an active part of the children's life in the United Methodist Church!!
